The final Master Plan draft of Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati was released today. The master plan was prepared after resolving the severe concerns rose during the draft plan which was released on December 26 last year.
Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu who received the master plan released it for Municipal Administration and CRDA Chairman P Narayana. This plan has been modified heavily on 6 roads to limit the damage to only 360 houses, quitting the previous plan of widening the internal roads. The AP government will issue a fresh notification for land pooling on February 28 and the farmers will be given a month's time to raise their concerns on the new master plan.
Amaravathi would not only be the administrative capital of Andhra Pradesh, but also serve as an economic powerhouse to the reorganized state as we are planning to generate economic activity in it by setting up industries in the service sector.
