Cops garlanding for public urination
Yet again Mahankali traffic police was in news with taking their part of the Swachch Hyderabad in a different way. Earlier they had painted few major walls in Mehdipatnam with religious symbols of all communities to stop the public urinating on them. They had also announced that GHMC will impose a fine of Rs 500 on those who urinate on these walls.
However some have not stopped urinating on them Mahankali traffic police led by inspector Rama Swamy took up a campaigning against public urination. they garlanded few people those relieving themselves on footpaths.
They garlanded the men and requested them not to urinate on footpaths and told them that public toilets were just a furlong away, one located opposite the railway station and another near the No. 10 bus stop. Even as the GHMC has been attempting to stop the problem of public urination in this area, although public toilets has been constructed here nobody is using it.
