Double Profit for Kabali
Producing a star film is not a big matter. But producing a star film in limited budget will defiantly bring profits to makers. Super Star Rajinikanth who scored Box Office duds such as Vikram Simha and Lingaa is following this mantra.
As per our sources makers of 'Kabali' wanted to make this film with 100 crs but Rajinikanth denied the proposal and wanted to make 'Kabali' with a reasonable budget instead of investing over Rs 100 crore. Now, the shoot has been wrapped up within Rs 70 crores budget.
As a result Makers of 'Kabali' made double profits prior to the release. They had sold films Theatrical rights in India alone for around Rs 150 crore. That means makers has already got table profit and the profit gets doubled if the income obtained through Satellite Rights is included.
Kabali is being planned for the second half of May release. Currently the post production works of the film are going on. Santosh Narayanan is the music director for the film which stars Dhansika and others in key roles.
