Four MLAs joined in TDP
Finally the day had come. Four MLAs and one MLC from YSR Congress party has shifted their loyalty to the ruling Telugu Desam Party. Bhuma Nagi Reddy and his daughter Akhila Priya (from Kurnool district), MLA representing Jammalamdugu constituency Adinarayana Reddy, Vijayawada (West) MLA Jaleel Khan and MLC Narayana Reddy are in the list.
Chandrababu naidu who sat with the party leaders of these constituencies assured them that he will protect their interests despite new comers coming in. senior leaders from Kurnool district, including Silpa Mohan Reddy and Silpa Chakrapani Reddy, who are said to be opposing Mr. Nagi Reddy’s entry into the TDP, to Vijayawada attended the meeting.
TDP party has added new strengths with these additions. Taking the excitement to the next level, Minister Achchennaidu announced that about 50% of YSR Congress MLAs may join TDP by March 5th, which is when the Budget session of the Assembly begins.
