Mudhragadda backed off
The violence that followed Kapu Gharjana has shocked the entire nation. Former Kakinada MP, Kapu agitation leader, Mudhragadda Padmanabham who announced the decision of Fast unto death yesterday has withdrawn.
Speaking at a Press conference, Mudhragadda has proclaimed that he has withdrawn the decision to avoid any untoward incidents in the agitation. He also refuted rumours about affiliating with any party. Meanwhile Mudhragadda is under fire from his own community. They are claiming that Mudhragadda brought disgrace to Kapu community after resorting to violence.
Some political experts are claiming that more over Lakhs of people have attended the meeting and such congregation and meeting cannot be organized by Mudhragadda who is aloof from politics for a long time.
However, Padmanabh accused the Chief Minister of giving “false promises” to Kapus on their inclusion in BC category. “Let the CM realize the gravity of the situation.” Meanwhile the investigating officials were screening video footage to identify miscreants who torched train and police stations. The arrests are likely to be made later today.
