Run Movie Review
Director Ani Kanneganti's Telugu movie "Run" was out today. Sundeep Kishan and Anisha Ambrose has played lead roles. The film is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Neram. Let’s see will it work here or not.
"Run" revolves around the story of computer engineer (Sundeep Kishan), who becomes jobless when the U.S.-based company he works for gets in trouble. He takes a loan from an unkind dubious lender (Bobby Simhaa), but fails to pay the interest for months.
On the other side, there is a love track of Sanju with Ammu (Anisha Amborse), his childhood darling. Ammu's father Srinivasulu (Kasi Viswanath) declines to marry of her daughter with Sanju as he has not job. He elopes with her and the money lender and the girl's father starts chasing them. How the hero overcomes the challenges forms the crux of the story of the movie "Run."
Twists in the movie has gone well
Chemistry between lead pair is major highlight
Brahmaji role as Padmavati is impressive
Tempo of the film dips slightly in second half
Lack of tension and emotions
Run is a very faithful remake but the original film is more gripping, better acted and far more engaging overall. Production values are top notch and the effective camera work makes the movie look realistic and crisp. Those who have seen Neram will not like it at all and for those who did not; it will be an average film.
Run Lack of tension
