Sanjay Dutt granted 30 days parole
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, currently lodged in Pune's Yerwada Central Jail for his role in 1993 Mumbai blasts case has been granted 30 days parole by the Maharashtra administration to attend to his ailing daughter.
Citing the reason for his daughter's ill health, Dutt had filed for an application in June this year. Dutt's parole application was sanctioned by Pune divisional commissioner and the actor is expected to be home in next couple of days.
Sanjay Dutt's parole has always been controversial with many insisting that he is getting special treatment because of his celebrity status.
