Suicide Bomb Attack In Pak
A Taliban faction, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has once again showcased its cruel by a suicide bomb attack on a park filled with people in Lahore, Pakistan where Christians were celebrating Easter. More than 50 people were killed and at least 200 wounded in this blast.
As per our sources the blast occurred in the parking area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, a few feet (meters) away from children’s swings. Most of the dead and injured are women and children. The body of the suspected bomber was discovered, enabling him to be identified.
Survivors ran in terror after the blast and, in the stampede, children became separated from their parents. "When the blast occurred, the flames were so high they reached above the trees and I saw bodies flying in the air," said one of the survivors. Footage broadcast on local television stations showed chaotic scenes in the park, with people running while carrying children and cradling the wounded in their laps.
Public parks in the area were closed after the attack, and shopping areas shut down, too.The army was called in to assist with crowd control, Reuters reported.
