TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is released today with a price tag of Rs.97880(Mumbai Ex-showroom) With BS-IV norms kicking in soon. It is Rs.3000 higher than its predecessor. The Pirelli Sport Demon tyre fitted version of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V costs around Rs.1.06 Lakhs(Mumbai Ex-showroom). From April 2017, its must every bike manufactured in india should follow BS-IV norms. So The updates on the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V are restricted to engine tweaks and do not involve any cosmetic changes.Compare to TVS Apache RTR 200 4V's predecessor, the new bike gets the AHO(Automatic Headlight On) feature, which is part of the BS-IV checklist so there wont be any switch for its headlight.
As of now TVS dint mention yet of when bikers can expect the top-spec ABS-equipped, fuel-injected model to hit showrooms.So far, it is only the carburetted version that is on sale. It is crucial for TVS to launch the top-spec variant of the Apache RTR 200 4V to stay competitive in the two wheeler market with competition building from the likes of the re-introduced, updated Bajaj NS200 and newly-launched Yamaha FZ25.
