When the Collector told him that the houses built by housing board are unoccupied, the CS instructed him to make necessary arrangements to make them temporary accommodation for IT companies.

Tucker enquired about the undeveloped sites in IT SEZ and asked the zonal manager to take back the lands, if the companies were reluctant to develop industries. He also suggested that skill development training should be imparted to at least five students from every college in the district.

Regarding development of tourism, he asked the GVMC Commissioner Praveen Kumar and VUDA vice chairman T Baburao Naidu to create infrastructure for developing new resorts and hotels. “Special focus should also be made on the heritage structure like Kerala tourism to attract domestic and foreign tourists,” he added.
