India's limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his lawyers are mulling over suing the publishers of a Hindi daily for damages upto Rs 100 crores on account of defamation, trauma, and mental agony. As per a report in Deccan Chronicle, Dhoni has sent a legal notice to the accusers (a Hindi daily), who reportedly claim that he fixed a Test match against England at Old Trafford in 2014. The accusers, quoting Sunil Dev who was a manager of Team India on England tour, had alleged that Dhoni purposefully chose to bat on a wet wicket resulting in a loss for Men in Blue as the match wrapped up under three days.
